Troy Tso (Diné) was moved by the struggles of homeless veterans to contemplate the concept of home. The central focus of his design is a Hogan, a customary Diné building made of wood and earth. The interior view of the roof reveals its construction, which is encompassed by the four surrounding mountains of the Navajo Nation: Dibé Ntsaa (Hesperus Peak), Sisnaajini (Blanca Peak), Tsoodzil (Mount Taylor), and Dook’o’oosliid (the San Francisco Peaks).
