The Pendleton Hidatsa Earth blanket features four crosses representing the four cardinal directions, similar to a design taken from a photograph by Edward S. Curtis. Geometric motifs embody the earth and sky with mountains and patterns signifying wheat, grass, and seeds. A percentage of the proceeds from this blanket is donated to the American College Indian Fund.
