The classic wool Earth Vest is warm, durable and versatile. Made from the Pendleton Woolen Mills Hidatsa Earth blanket honoring historic records from 1896 to 1930 by Edward Curtis’ photos recording every major Indian tribe move west of the Mississippi. Inspired by one of his photos, the Hidatsa Earth pattern features a triangular step pattern in the center, known as the mountain design, along with geometric patterns representing wheat, grass, and seed.
Our vest gives a comfortable and roomy fit allowing for easy layering if desired. Wide armholes provide a full range of motion to easily move and reach into two front pockets. The collar can be worn up or folded down for styling and warmth options. S, M, L, XL. Designs on pockets vary.
