Knowing that actions are more important then appearances the Navajo people study an animals behavior to learn from it. Buffalo is mighty and fearsome but lives peacefully grazing on plants. Fox is supple and small but lives fiercefully by hunting. All animals live on Earth's shared path in hozho the Navajo state of balance and order.
